The rules of French Roulette are slightly different from European Roulette: it is necessary to guess the number which the ball lands on at the end of the wheel spin.
The wheel consists of 37 numbers which go from 0 up to and including 36. Number Nil, or as it is called correctly zero, is painted in green. All other numbers are painted in black and red in an alternating order.
The French Roulette betting area has all the numbers painted in the same way as the numbers of the wheel. Similar to European Roulette, the betting area is divided into inside and outside areas.
According to roulette rules players can place bets:
- On a definite number
- On the combination of numbers
- On the characteristics of numbers (odd-even, high-low, red-black)
The following table presents different types of bets of French Roulette and their payout ratios according to rules:

Bet on two numbers (split, on two adjoining numbers)
Bet on three numbers (street, on three adjoining numbers)
Bet on four numbers (so-called corner)

Dozen (bet on 12 numbers of the counting order: from 1 to 12, from 13 to 24, from 25 to 36)

Bet of high-low (on 19-36/ on 1-18)
